Google Calendar integration
Last updated
This screen connects your Google account to Diagnosticy so appointments stay in sync. Diagnosticy only uses the Calendar permission: it creates, reads, and updates events on the practice calendar. It does not open your email or your contacts.
When you connect, a calendar named My appointments is created.
How to get here
- From Account, on the Google Calendar card, click Connect Google Calendar.
- Or open Events: if the connection or permissions are missing, Diagnosticy brings you here.
Events require a Pro or Premium plan. You can finish the connection first; to use the schedule you will need that plan.
What you see
- Title Google Calendar integration.
- The line Connect your Google Account with Diagnosticy.
- The Connect button.
- A note: you will be asked for Calendar access and, after that, your Diagnosticy calendar will be created.
How to connect
- Click Connect.
- Choose the Google account you use in the practice.
- Accept the Calendar permission.
- Diagnosticy creates the My appointments calendar (if it does not exist yet) and takes you to My Events.
In many cases the process is automatic: if you already authorized Google but the calendar was missing, it is created for you. If everything is already ready, this page redirects you to events.
If something fails you will see Unable to check Google Calendar status. Use Try again.
How to disconnect
You can remove access from your Google account (third-party app permissions) or by stopping use of the integration. Connecting Calendar is optional.
Privacy, in short
- Only Diagnosticy appointment events are synced.
- Your Google information is not used for advertising.
- You decide when to connect or revoke access.
Tip
Use a practice Google account, not a mixed personal one, so appointments do not blend with other calendars.
